The expensive part of a concert is rarely the ticket. It is event parking, then surge rideshare pricing when twenty thousand people leave at the same moment. A bus removes both, and the chauffeur waits while you get out at your own pace.

Here is what group transport to a Houston show costs, how it compares to the alternatives, and what changes depending on which venue you are going to. Rates match our Houston party bus price guide.

What it costs versus parking and rideshare

Most concerts are Friday or Saturday. Friday carries a four hour minimum, Saturday five.

GroupVehicleRateFriday 4 hoursSaturday 5 hours
8 to 13Sprinter Lounge$90 per hour$360$450
14 to 20LoungeS$100 per hour$400$500
21 to 23LoungeX$110 per hour$440$550
24 to 28Lounge Plus+$120 per hour$480$600
29 to 32Lounge XL$130 per hour$520$650
33 to 50Mega Lounge$140 per hour$560$700

These party bus prices cover the rental only, before 15 to 20 percent gratuity. Across twenty people a Friday show works out around $20 each, and that is before you count what several cars would pay to park. Every party bus rental option is on our fleet page.

Venue by venue

  • Toyota Center. Downtown, so you are competing with everything else happening downtown that night. Getting out of the garages after a sold out show is slow. A bus collecting at a set point beats it.
  • 713 Music Hall. Also downtown, in the same congestion. Groups tend to pair it with dinner beforehand, which the bus makes simple.
  • The Cynthia Woods Mitchell Pavilion. Out in The Woodlands, so the drive is the main cost of the evening. This is the venue where a bus makes the most difference, because it is a long trip both ways and nobody wants to be the designated driver for it.
  • White Oak Music Hall. North of downtown with limited parking around it. Drop off and collection is far easier than trying to park a group nearby.

For lawn shows at the Pavilion in particular, build in extra time. Everyone leaves at once and the roads out take a while to clear regardless of what you are driving.

How many hours to book

For a downtown show, four to five hours covers pickup, dinner, the show and home. For The Woodlands, add an hour, because the round trip alone can take two.

Decide up front whether you want the bus to wait through the show or leave and return. Waiting is simpler and means you leave when you want to; returning can save an hour of booked time if the show is long. Either works, but tell us at booking so the quote is right.

Questions

How much is a party bus to a Houston concert?

Friday carries a four hour minimum and Saturday five, so $360 to $700 for the bus depending on size and night. Across twenty people a Friday show is around $20 each, before you count what several cars would pay for event parking.

Can the bus wait during the concert?

Yes. The chauffeur can wait through the show so you leave when you want, or drop and return at an agreed time. Waiting counts as booked time, so tell us which you prefer when you book and we will quote accordingly.

Is a party bus worth it for a concert at The Cynthia Woods Mitchell Pavilion?

This is the venue where it makes the most difference. It is out in The Woodlands, the round trip can take two hours, and everyone leaves at once when the show ends. Nobody has to be the designated driver for a long drive home late at night.

How many hours should we book for a concert?

Four to five for a downtown show covers pickup, dinner, the show and home. Add an hour for The Woodlands because of the drive. Building in extra time costs less than paying overtime while the car parks empty out.

Can we drink on the way to a show?

Yes, provided everyone drinking is 21 or over. Ice and cups are included and our chauffeurs enforce the age rule.
