Here is what a night out costs across Washington Avenue, Midtown and downtown, how long to book for, and what to check before you hand over a deposit. Rates match our Houston party bus price guide.

What a night out costs per person

These nights are almost always Saturday, which carries a five hour minimum. Split across a full group it lands well under what the same night costs in rideshare once surge pricing hits at closing time.

GroupVehicleRate5 hour totalPer person
8 to 13Sprinter Lounge$90 per hour$450about $38
14 to 20LoungeS$100 per hour$500about $28
21 to 23LoungeX$110 per hour$550about $24
24 to 28Lounge Plus+$120 per hour$600about $22
29 to 32Lounge XL$130 per hour$650about $21
33 to 50Mega Lounge$140 per hour$700about $16

These party bus rental prices cover the vehicle only, before 15 to 20 percent gratuity. A Friday night drops to a four hour minimum and mid week to three, which is the cheapest way to run one of these if the date is flexible. See the vehicles on our fleet page.

How long to book

Five hours is the Saturday minimum and it covers a normal night: pickup, dinner or a first bar, two or three stops, and home. If the plan is to stay out until closing, book six, because overtime at 1am costs more than the hour would have cost when you booked.

Build in more time than the map suggests. Groups this size do not move quickly. Twenty people getting off a bus, into a venue and back out again takes longer every single time than anyone expects.

Washington Ave, Midtown and downtown

Most Houston bachelor and bachelorette nights run through one of three areas, and the bus solves a different problem in each:

  • Washington Avenue. Parking is the constraint. A bus drops at the door and waits, which beats circling for a space and paying a lot fee at every stop.
  • Midtown. Venues are close together but the walk between them in heels at midnight is the part nobody plans for.
  • Downtown. Event nights collide with bar nights, and getting out afterwards is slow. Having your own vehicle waiting is worth more here than anywhere else in the city.

Tell us the stops when you book. We do not charge per stop, and the chauffeur can route around whatever is closed or busy on the night.

What to check before you pay

  • The all in total in writing. A low hourly rate with fuel surcharges, service fees and automatic gratuity can finish 30 to 40 percent higher.
  • Whether gratuity is already added, so nobody tips twice at the end of the night.
  • Proof of insurance. A rate far below everyone else usually means something has been skipped, and it is normally the insurance.
  • Pay the deposit by card, never cash app or wire, so a chargeback exists if a company does not show.

On alcohol, everyone on board must be 21 or over to drink and our chauffeurs enforce it. Beyond that, bring what you like. Ice and cups are included.

Questions

How much is a bachelorette party bus in Houston?

Saturday carries a five hour minimum, so expect $450 to $700 for the bus depending on size, which is roughly $16 to $38 per person across a full group. A Friday drops to a four hour minimum and mid week to three.

Can we drink on the party bus?

Yes, if everyone drinking is 21 or over, and our chauffeurs enforce that. Ice and cups are included, so bring what you want. The chauffeur stays with the vehicle all night.

How many stops can we make?

As many as fit in your booked time. We do not charge per stop. Tell us the plan when you book and the chauffeur can route around whatever is busy or closed on the night.

How many hours should we book?

Five covers a normal night out and is the Saturday minimum. Book six if you plan to stay until closing, because overtime at 1am costs more than that hour would have cost at booking. Groups move slower than people expect.

Is a party bus cheaper than rideshare for a group?

For a full group, usually yes, particularly at closing time when surge pricing hits and a large group needs several vehicles. The bus also waits between stops rather than being re-booked each time.
